Media Coordinator
As an integrated agency, the Media Department works closely with the Creative and Account Service teams to develop and implement media plans that deliver on our clients’ goals. We carry expertise in both traditional and nontraditional media channels.
The primary function of the Media Coordinator is to assist the Media Planner in developing, implementing and maintaining integrated media plans. Specific duties to include:
- Assisting with research in the planning stages of a media schedule.
- Work with media vendors and compile responses to media RFPs and help to organize and summarize information from the vendors.
- Generate and place insertion orders for media buys.
- Maintenance of tear sheet files.
- Check media invoices and resolve invoicing discrepancies with media vendors.
- Assist the Media Planner with the generation of media reports. Pull raw campaign metrics and organize data into Excel spreadsheets and graphs for analysis.
- Other tasks as assigned.
A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A quick learner with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Superior math skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Highly organized.
- Self starter.
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Advertising is a must and agency experience is a plus.
